About us

A very warm welcome to Seize the Stay.

Seize the Stay is a small, family business, originally founded by me, Beverley, and now run together with my partner, Renato. It is our sincere wish that every single guest has a truly exceptional experience staying with us.

I came to hosting from a background in the art world, and it shows. I love colourful, characterful spaces, unusual art on the walls, and the little details that take a stay from good to great. A proper mattress, good coffee, big fluffy towels. We never scrimp on the things that matter.

This photograph was taken on the day we completed our first refurb together, the guest-ready main bedroom of our house in Ellesmere Port. It was a long journey, and one we're proud of.

Our logo is the wolf, Lupita. She represents the weary traveller, looking for somewhere to lay their head after a long day. If you'll excuse the woo-woo, the wolf is my spirit animal, so she is very personal and close to my heart.
